About the Presenter

 

Helen Rogers is founder of “Seasons Of Life” a consulting firm in Oxford, Ohio, sharing motivational and leadership skills focusing on social and business protocol.

Helen brings a unique base of experience to her presentations. She has been a guest presenter for diverse audiences:

·          Varied university level organizations, including Student Activities and Organizational Leadership, Summer Institute and Office of Judicial Affairs

·          Sororities and Fraternities

·          High Schools including: Withrow High Academy of Travel & Tourism and Talawanda Business and Professional Executive Council

·          Churches: Carolina Sate Youth Association, Ohio District Council Women’s Conference and area churches

 

Ms Rogers has been a member of the Oxford community for over 30 years, where she held the following positions:

·          President of Business and Professional Women’s Org., Oxford Chapter

·          Secretary and Board Member Crisis Counseling Center

·          Chairman Oxford Civil Service Commission

·          Member United Way Finance Committee

·          Oxford View Nursing Center Adopt a Grandparent Committee

 

Helen is also in Print: A book entitled They Too Call Alabama Home by Dr. Richard Bailey. A profile of persons directly or indirectly affected by the state of Alabama, a must for the History and Political Science minded.

 

Prior to her current position she was employed with Schnieder Electric/Square D Company, where she held the position of manager in Human Resources and Manufacturing departments. In Inventory Control, she held the position of Senior Material Analyst for over fifteen years.

 

She managed $1.2M inventory for Plug-In-Unit devices, one of the three products manufactured at the facility. Helen also provided computer related training for over one hundred fifty department employees, ranging from inventory availability to customer order entry and deliveries.

 

Receiving the Best Practice Quality Award was one of her many accomplishments during her tenure with the company.

 

Helen finds self-gratification in giving back to society. Her spirit of giving is fueled by God’s love.
